I just recently replaced the left and right windows on a 69 Fastback with the 70's style. While replacing the regulator and brackets, I noticed that there are 2 metal clips on the top of the door on the right side. I assumed that these were support brackets that held the upper door trim against the window. However, the left side did not have the brackets. I'm trying to find them but am unable to locate or describe them clearly. Is there a specific name for these or is fabracating them the only way to go?

those look like they hold the door panel upper curved piece in place against the window..

there are a bunch of mustang used parts suppliers that might have some...

removing a good one..   sticking some low tack masking tape to one side..  trimming it to fit.. then you can use that as a pattern to duplicate more..   i don't know if its some type of springy steel..
