69 Mach1 rear pillar emblem

I am restoring a 69 Mach 1. The prior owner shaved off the studs used to attach the rear pillar circular Mustang emblem and simply used double sided tape and glue. They were attached asymmetrically, and I would like to know the correct location. Unable to find information in shop manual. Thanks for your help!
