What detirmens the color of the trunk aera,Is it painted the same color as the car or not. The car will be painted 65 factory red if this helps!

I assume then it is a '65 Mustang you are describing? If so, the trunk area is painted body color. This includes the rear seat structure, trunk hinges, inside of trunk lid, inisde of taillight panel, trunk floor, and inside of quarter panels. If you're going concours correct with it the trunk lid to hinge bolts must be body color as well. So either paint it with the trunk lid on and aligned, or touch up the bolts when you do final assembly.
