Just bought a 66GT, looking for anywhere I can get somemore info on its history - it was delivered new to Columbia records as a Sweepstake Prize I believe - I found an advert for the 1965 one but nothing for 1966. Does anyone know if this is likely to be true? It was also supposed to have been owned by NASA and have some contact to Neil Armstrong ( I thought they had Vettes) . Is this likely to be a myth? Not sure how I can get the names of the previous keepers ( only a couple of them apparently). Any ideas how I can get any further info, Thanks for any help you can be, Chris

Welcome to the forum, Unfortunately, you're pretty much out of luck - see the May 2012 issue of Mustangs Monthly magazine for advice and/or search here on the forum for previous answers on this subject.

Thanks for the confirmation - unlike here in the UK where you can get copies of all the registration forms for the previous owners I could not seem to find an equivalent in the US. Have the original bill of sale and the name of the guy who owner it in the US before it came to the UK in 2002 - trying to track him and work backwards - think I only have two missing! Enjoying my first month of Mustang ownership, car looks stunning, drives great Thanks again,
