I don't know if this the right place to ask this, but I am gonna try. If I need to be in another place just tell me! My question is that I have read somewhere that you should NEVER use any products that contain silicone to detail in the engine compartment as it will ruin some sensor that even gets a smell of it. Is that true, and if so, what is the recommended way to detail all the black plastic stuff on the modern engines ?? I have a 2005
