Ford did not use a Holley carb on the '65 Mustang V-8 application. They were all Autolites, even the Hi-Po cars. The only V-8s to get a Holley were the Shelby GT 350, and that was after they were modified at Shelby American.

Your car should have a Autolite 4100 vacuum secondary 4V carburetor with a 1.08-inch primary venturi size (look for a 1.08 stamping on the primary fuel bowl, driver's side. This is a 480cfm carb.

you really do need to identify which carb you have...

google autolite 4100 .. look at the various images...

google holley 4150... look at the various images..

don't forget... that if you need something that is kinda like the original.. kinda...   summit has their private label carbs.. that are an updated 4100 design but using holley secondary vacuum and choke controls..

there are several great articles on rebuilding the 4100 autolite carbs right here in this magazines archives... type them in above right..   just put in 4100...   or autolite...
