can any one tell me if the 65 coupe had engine numbers stamped on them ..if so .where ould it be found.thanks

There is a build date code stamped on the driver's side in front of the block deck in front of the head like 5E26F. 5=1965, E is May, 5th month) 26th day of month, F= have no idea.
1967 Build Date Data
7M13W = 1967, December 1966, 13th day of month, W = ?

The GT350s had their Ford VIN stamped on the block passenger side above the oil pan rail behind the alternator. But not reg Mustangs.
