Needing to find out what year or vehicle my C5 transmission is from. Stamping says E2TP 70027-AA. Any ideas. I need to get parts for it.

an E2 stamping on the TAG denotes it as an 1982 unit..
they made C5 transmissions from 82 to 86...
there are very few differences between the C4 parts and the C5 parts as i looked through the alto transmission parts catalog i have..
the only serious difference i saw was if it had a 6 friction reverse pack or an 8 friction reverse pack... as the pressure plate is different thickness..
