Hi, Me and my husband are trying to find out what the exact placement or measurements of the bumper guards would be. I've googled and asked but still have'nt gotten an answer. We're restoring an early 65 coupe. Not sure if that would make any kind of differance. Thanks ahead of time for ANY input
You really don't need any measurements, as once the brackets are in place they only bolt into one spot front and rear. For the front the bottom of the guard bolts directly to the valance (you'll see two holes, one on each side). At the top there is a bracket that bolts to the car first. It is sometimes easier to put them on with the bumper off.For the rear, there is a pair of brackets that bolt to the rear crossmember that locate the guards. Again, it is best done with the rear bumper removed.HTH...Mark.
