I have an 82 ford mustang and can not get the speed control to work any Ideas??? (i checked the fuses they are all good)
The speed control on the Fox Mustang uses a diaphragm-based servo, meaning it has to have vacuum going to it. Ensure the vacuum line to the servo is connected and getting vacuum (servo is in the left front fender). Also verify the clutch/brake pedal switches are working. If they are not, or out of adjustment they will tell the servo to dump vacuum and it will never "pull" the throttle cable.HTH...Mark.
